SoCal local race
Well this past weekend I did the regional AHRMA event at Perris Calif. Rode two classes the +50 and sportsman 250cc class. Beat my body up on the track that was not vintage and to some not PV.
I guess you can’t make everyone happy but I have a basic rule of thumb about tracks. If I have to use 1st gear on a motocross track after the start the track sucks. Last year this event was a marginal track in my view it was worse this year. Single track and 1st gear was all you could do on the back part.
The people that put on the race did a good job and mean well, it’s just not my cup of tea. The Saturday evening party was great. However I race for the fun of it and the track was not fun and I gave it 2 years no more.
Next year I’m going north where they have a better idea of what a track is supposed to look like.
