NM National
Many thanks to everyone for the great time at the last AMA Sidecar National and AHRMA National at Sandia New Mexico. The hospitality of Team New Mexico (Dave and Jim) is always first class and Jim’s wife feeds us very well. (Thank You)
It’s a 13 hour drive to the track in NM and the facility is great. This weekend we had road racing on one side and mx on the other side of the place. Friday night brought rain wind and a cold storm through the area but by Saturday morning it was over. Both Saturday and Sunday were clear in the 70’s with a light wind while the nights dropped down to the 40’s.
Team Wyckoff finished a 3rd in the sidecars and a 7th in the vintage +50 class. The big story was the team of Morgan and Janette. Two teams are in contention for the National Championship, that being Team NM (Dave and Jim) and Morgan and Janette.
After a crash in the first moto and a clear victory in the 2nd moto Morgan and Janette are in the lead. Dave and Jim will have to have a really good day at the next National to take the Championship away. It would be a miscalculation to count them out the next race at Tulare will be a fun one to watch.
Here is a new web site by team New Mexico nice check it out www.usasidecarcross.com and here is the cycle news report NICE!
