VERY BAD NEWS
I`m sad to report that Jim Pomeroy was killed in a Jeep accident aroundnoon today (8-6-06), succumbing to massive head injuries. Jim was larger than life, an absolute gentleman, an ambassador for
vintage motocross, a friend to everyone he met and a true motocross
hero!
Jim was not hard to pick out of a crowd...he`s was always the one with
a smile on his face, shaking someone`s hand.
Wow, I just saw him last weekend at Mid-Ohio and now he`s gone...what a
loss.
I think heaven was created for guys like Jim and I know right now he
has a firm grip on God`s hand and is being welcomed home.
Godspeed Jim....until we meet again!

What can I add to this? Over the last few years I have been lucky to have known Jim, the races and the world will be a lesser place without him.
