Sorry, I have been unable to get around to commenting on our last race at Honey Lake.
We had two really great starts on the sidecar only for me to blow it on the first right hand turn in both moto’s. We finished 3rd in both races with a 3rd over all.
The over all sidecar team winners were Janette and Morgan. They now lead the National points and are riding really strong. Dave and Jim from New Mexico won the first moto and it looked to be a great race in the 2nd moto. Unfortunately Dave and Jim had gate trouble in that moto and were stuck under the gate.
In the solo vintage I had a really good first moto finishing 2nd after a last lap pass by team mate/brother Lance. In the next race I was just off pace and pulled a 4th ending up 4th over all. I will post photo’s as soon as I can, stay tuned !
