ORV: Reality Check

California is the largest state in the country in terms of off-road vehicle owners as well as off-road recreation oriented businesses, with the largest concentration of off-road related businesses in the country. Upwards of 18% of California residents enjoy off-road vehicle oriented recreation. The economic impact of off-road recreation exceeds $7 BILLION dollars and is responsible for upwards of 50,000 direct industry employment jobs, extrapolated from a 1991 economic impact study done by the California State University, Sacramento

Given this comment why dont we have more say in things? Because off roaders just can not seem to get off the dime and work at protecting there rights go to www.vote29.com for more on this subject.

More SoCal tracks suck

The one section of small doubles....one right after another splayed out quite a few people yesterday. 2 of the 3 carted off in ambulances came from that section. One kid was air lifted.
Funny, when most of the people are making their own "path" around certain "obsticles".....that really should give the track owner a clue.

Considering that most of the folks practicing on that particular track were little kids and older dudes or not so "expert" level riders.....I just don't understand the need to make it "do or die".
It wasn't just "us"....the sidecar/vintage faction. There were many others that didn't seem too happy about the track set up.
Seeing ambulances throughout the day is just unsettling when you're just there to practice.

Can't say that this track or any others in So.Cal are going to get any better before they get a clue.

Time to build a Vintage commune in Northern New Mexico or Texas.
